Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its feathers jingle when it rustles its wings.

And look! The leaf near its head has grown larger. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Though Sealable doesn't know what a "lable" is, the "sea" part of his name is appropriate. He enjoys swimming and diving, and he envies the dragons with bodies suited for living in an aquatic environment. He would one day like to leave Mount MtSha to find the nearest ocean, wherever that is, and just do nothing except swim around and not think about other things. His parents keep nagging him that he should learn some more life skills instead of spending hours swimming in one of the many lakes around their home. It's true that Sealable is probably a better swimmer than flier now; he isn't totally sure because he hasn't tried to fly yet. He has all the time in the world to learn stuff, though he's sure he'll fail at them.
