Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He was a feeble-natured dragon, his heart weak in more ways than one. As much as he despised change, he is unable to control his magical abilities, hindering him in plenty of ways. His magic manifested itself in plenty of ways, but the most common form seen are sparks leaping off his scales to a glowing aura that surrounds him—although there were plenty of times where his magic went dormant just as well. As a result, he had injured those dearest to him without even thinking about it. He isolated himself from plenty of dragons, often staying in a lone cave where he spent his time thinking about his mate, parents and half-siblings. Often, when approached, he quickly fled, and with his acrobatic skills, it is difficult to catch him in a chase unless bound first—but there was always a change of magical backlash. But even then, he was always seen whispering, "Fate isn't destiny, fate isn't destiny..." He held these words very dear to him as he sat still in eternal isolation.
