Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Gene and Rod are the authors of the infamous hit botanical novel series "Starfruit Trek", where the protagonist, a magical beanstalk called Captain Kirkumin extends tendrils with supernatural speed on a self-imposed five-year mission "to boldly grow where no plant has grown before". The two heads have totally different ideas of how the universe should work and are often fighting over plots and characterisation, leading to inconsistencies that fans go to great lengths to explain away. Gene thinks Captain Kirkumin should swashbuckle his way through evil alien weeds to save the day along with a crew of other plants associated with the Apple Tree Enterprise. Rod is more interested in interplanetary botanical relations, and seems to think Captain Kirkumin should unite the galaxy by cross-pollinating with every plant species he encounters. The two have agreed not to burn each others' manuscripts (so they can have something to publish), but the same cannot be said of their fan mail.
