Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A member of the Legion so convinced he was changed from a Gold egg, he changed his name to reflect it. Aurelian is extremely proud of what he has become, despite his loss of voice, and takes no greater joy than swallowing up weaker minds than his own through the strange thought-sharing ability dragons of the Legion have, leaving nothing but empty shells behind. Those who can resist his influence find him nearly insufferable, only worth keeping for his occasional streaks of brilliance- they'd never admit it, but Aurelian is one of the first dragons to go to when there is a problem, as he seems to have no trouble in coming up with a solution. His most well-known idea was learning Legion members only lose their ability to speak upon maturity, and that creating a mouthpiece for them was as simple as changing and immediately freezing a newborn hatchling. Between this and those he has overtaken, Aurelian is the closest thing the Legion has to a leader, but this position may not last.
