On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Presser was adopted when she was about five months out of her shell, and she barely remembers her original family members. Whenever she thinks about them, visions of tall waves and arcing thunder split their visages, and she becomes sad and scared and still doesn't remember them any better. In an effort to avoid those negative feelings, she thinks little about the time before her new family rescued her. She was named Presser because she would press against them and hook her fins on anything that could be hooked and wouldn't let go. She does that far less often as an adult, though she's still happy to hug and hold hands with those she's close to. Presser enjoys hanging out in brackish water, muddy water, and muddy brackish water, and she enjoys the company of other dragons, provided they don't mind mud or ask prying questions. For some reason, lots of beings have told her that she smells like a variety of flowering plant found on land, but she's never heard of it or even been inland.
