Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Samara loves her mate dearly, or at least one side of her does. Yet as if she is possessed by a demon, the other half hates her mate with a startling passion. Indeed, Samara often finds herself conflicted about her opinions, with one part of her going for the ruthless and dangerous option while the more moral side is repulsed by the thoughts of the other. As someone who is awful at keeping a secret, Samara has often confessed this worry to her mate, but he always disregards them as jokes or her imagination. While this somewhat relieves Samara that someone would have so much faith in her personality, it also distresses her that he will not listen, and she often worries what would happen if her angry side was to achieve dominance over her mind. Sometimes she wonders if she should leave the clans to keep those she loves safe, but in her heart she knows that she is not strong enough to do that, as she loves them too dearly. At least some of her does.
