Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Little is known of Terrace, but he is thought to originate from a distant human village that was destroyed by enemy marauders. Lost and enraged, the Aegis wandered the wilderness for who knows how long before coming across the local Clan, who happily invited him to their territory.

He now dens near the main caverns but a bit higher in the mountains, where he is comfortably close to others but with just enough isolation. He rarely speaks and, while he would never harm the innocent, tends to be very snappy and short-tempered; many are confused over why he'll never calm down and others have tried to talk to him, but still he remains in permanent rage and mourning.
