Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Instead of relaxing in the more peaceful lands home to most of her kind, Not Soul Peaceful searches constantly for tormented zombies to Expunge. Her quest has brought her deep into the heart of human cities as she looks for the powerful mages who create the Undead. Although her aim is to convince the humans to cease their experimentations with magic, those who manage to spot her usually interpret her appearance as a blessing, encouraging them to create even more monstrosities. Since discovering this, Not Soul Peaceful has done her best to avoid being sighted, even going so far as to burrow underground to avoid human eyes. This has allowed her to find sleeping zombie bodies more easily, but it has also stained her feathers and scales beyond recognition. Any human who now stumbles across the Soulpeace sees not a good omen but a tunneling horror covered in filth and sometimes, as is unavoidable with one who works with zombies, brains.
