Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a slick, oily feeling hide.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Rewrap is a cheerful, curious, and aromatic little dragon and too young to know any better. He's clueless about the dangers of the world and perhaps excessively inquisitive. He doesn't know why his mum and dad protect him so fiercely and is quite upset that he can't play with those nice people with the sticks. The pretty fire that the old green fella down the road uses to roast his meats is so pretty, and just once, when none of the spoilsport caretakers are looking, Rewrap is going to go over there and play with the flickering yellow-orange stuff.
