Greater Spotted Drakes are found in open pine and oak forests. They are among the larger end of the spectrum, but are quite laid back and feed mostly on plant material. They are ambush predators and rely on their dappled markings for camouflage. Females are usually larger than males, though males are brighter in color. In the breeding season the male attracts a mate by making loud, low-pitched bugles, followed by an aerial courtship dance as proof of his quality as a father to her offspring.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Uab can almost say his name, and he thinks he is very cool and diligent. He thinks that his master, Master, is an odd dragon who likes to move around too much. First, he sits next to his neighbor's cave, his usual sleeping spot, and Uab happily lies beside him. Then Master stands up and goes to the oak grove, so Uab has to follow, but as soon as he relaxes, Master gets up again and meets other terrae dragons. Later, Master changes his mind yet again and walks to the stone slab by the white trees. After Uab dutifully follows and lies down in the grass, Master leaves AGAIN and winds up back at his sleeping spot! Uab is a good drake so Master can't ever leave his sight, but he makes Uab's job difficult. If Master is going to wind up in the same place he began, there's no point in moving around. He says many things to Uab, but he hasn't yet explained why he does those strange things. Uab sometimes meets other drakes, but none of them have masters so he can't discuss his problem with them.
