Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bountiful is a dragon who loves observing life. While acknowledging that nothing is forever, this Solstice Dragon enjoys the whole cycle, beginning, middle, and end. While Bountiful likes to watch events play out, interfering is something that the dragon won't do.

As a Christmas Dragon, Bountiful is viewed as a legend. Rarely does the Solstice step foot in sight of another, and, when caught, the dragon runs with speed unmatched by an average human. Unlike most dragons, Bountiful has no power over magic and cannot hide behind a created snowstorm or escape by messing with the chasers head. Sometimes, someone catches the Solstice and Bountiful gives them a gift for their efforts, whether it be knowledge or an object.

While most would say that Solstices are all female, Bountiful is confident that he's a male. Because of his detachment from interacting with others, he does not know that who he is can be viewed as sinful. It's all normal to him though and he is confident with himself.
