The Leodon Dragon is well-known for its astonishing size and short, explosive temper. Although often praised for its undying bravery, its penchant for jumping head-first into unknown situations often leads to more trouble than necessary, especially when the Leodon relies more on brute force to solve problems than its innate skill as a master of fire magic. These dragons are adventurous by nature and enjoy any physical challenge they come across, but nothing evokes a Leodon’s courage more than the endangerment of its kin, both blood and chosen. The friends and family of a Leodon are fiercely guarded, even at the cost of its own life.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Potholder holds pots and other hot things. He's the only leodon in the kitchen and the only individual who can grab items from the ovens and fireplace with his bare hands. Everybody is called by job title, plus a numeral if there's more than one. For instance, Cook IV works from sunrise to noon, and Kitchen Manager I is the first on site every day. Potholder is just Potholder. His main job isn't really necessary because people can wear gloves or use towels instead of hiring someone, but he really wanted a job to please his parents and insisted to Owner that his unique skillset (touching hot stuff, producing fire, being strong) is a great benefit, and she'd regret not hiring him. That wasn't true, but Owner was reluctant to turn away a dragon who's big and on fire, so she hired him as temp, at first. Though he'll always be Potholder and cannot cook, clean or use the kitchen tools, he's slowly learning basic skills from his coworkers and starting to provide assistance in other ways.
