Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zar thinks he is better than other dragons and people should pay him tribute for his hoard. He is after all stronger, tougher, and more beautiful than them and deserves only the best. Since Zar isn't really a good fighter and despite his strength only one dragon, it is just a question of time until the peasants in the area get together to show him what they really think of his "superiority".
