Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to bask and play in the sunshine.

It’s gotten slightly bigger and its colors have changed! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A dainty little female, this hatchling loves nothing more than to spend her days making herself look beautiful. She decorates herself with flowers and seashells, lovingly combs her antennae, and spends long hours tanning to the perfect shade of purple. Her BROTHER, however, is constantly attempting to ruin her efforts with his obnoxious and dirty boy behaviors, leading her to shriek and pelt him with tiny glass pebbles until he runs off. If he'd just take some pride in his appearance he'd be so much more bearable!
