Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Jeofh is an easily-panicked dragon who lives deep in the Voiceless Desert. When something unnerves her, she usually reacts by attacking—her perceived aggression has led to her being mistaken for a male on numerous occasions. Even an unexpected gust of wind can have her leaping in the air on the lookout for sand-sharks.
To those who manage the feat of not spooking her, Jeofh is friendly, and she loves a partner to go exploring with. She is known to sneak into the territory rumored to contain a demon that turns creatures into glass, and even stolen some of it's 'victims' to sell in distant markets. While she hasn't caught sight of the culprit itself, she met Yuilais and Kmakarap, who have. Unlike them, however, she chooses to propagate the myth that there is a terrible monster about—rather than credit the real artist, the talented spitfire Flirianaik, who actually creates the statues out of sand and fire. Because of the 'danger' involved in getting the art, Jeofh steals the respect.
