Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whisper it Into My Ear, or Whispersong Draekon, is a dragon who loves to sing with others in the cave. Her mate, Hauntune Draekon (Can You Hum Me a Haunting Tune), is one of her favourite singing partners. Her softer voice compliments his nicely. The Nocturne Hearsong (A Song that Only I Can Hear), is one of her best friends. Whispersong is a Sunset dragon, but she enjoys going out during the day every once in a while, just to soak up some warmth. She has more of a difficulty remaining warm than the average dragon, and the sunlight is a simple solution. She also enjoys spending time napping with the singing Pillow dragons, when not with her mate. She doesn't enjoy talking about Hauntune's two former mates, though, and tends to turn away if any dragons are speaking of them, or if they're passing by. Nonetheless, she's a quiet but kind-hearted dragon who has made many friends in the cave, what with her moving around during the day and all. At night, though, she goes out to fly for fun.
