Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There was darkness, pure darkness that rendered even the sharpest of eyes useless. It was pitch black, the area seemingly cold and lifeless, even for that of a cave. There was the sound of water, dripping somewhere, and then an odd series of clicks echoed throughout the cave, a pair of glowing green lanterns appeared. But they weren't lanterns. The darkness seemed to disappear as the figure of a dragon appeared, eyes glowing. "You dare tempt with us, so it seems. Well then... It's too bad that you'll have to perish for trespassing." Soon more glowing green eyes appeared and the darkness lifted, revealing an entire clan of black dragons behind him. His lips lifted in what appeared to be a smirk, fangs showing. "Good riddance."
