Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Prudishness, whose name morphed to Rudy over time, has a "special ability": he needs less sleep than other folks like him, at about a quarter of the amount the average blusang needs, and this is, of course, without help from caffeine or other wake-me-ups. Some follow him around, in the water or the air or on land, sometimes covertly and sometimes not, to study his behavior. One institution's researchers gave him his weight in silver just so they could interview him and try to puzzle out how he came to be this way, so that's a plus. On the other wing, some study methods have not been as pleasant: there was one attempt to scan his brain activity for five days straight, and he fled after the 38th hour. Rudy is unsociable and very annoyed, but he's not an unkind dragon, so he puts up with others' behavior while squeezing favors out of them. Humans have noticed his special ability as well, and some of THEM have begun following him around, too.
