Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pida-Ver, while not being physically significant for a dragon, is the old matriarch of a small seaside cave of dragons. At 800 years old, she is much larger than many of her younger pack members. While there are a few that are slightly larger than her, she is still the dominant one, sometimes asserting herself with one of the many rocks she hoards around her nest. These range from the size of a small stone to a half-ton boulder and are used accordingly with her level of anger toward the offender. But while she is the alpha female, there is one she does submit to: her human master.
