Brimstone Dragons live in dry arid areas such as deserts where they feed mainly on sheep, goats and the occasional camel. Their favorite habitat is ideally situated close to the wastelands around active volcanoes. This is due to an important part of their diet—sulfur, which they obtain from deposits near volcanic gas vents. Instead of fire, these dragons use the sulfur they ingest to create a noxious gas which they store in their large throat pouches. When in danger, this gas is released in a large cloud. They also eat other mineral rich substances—including charcoal—and will drink the mineral rich (but slightly acidic) water commonly found in deserts and volcanic regions.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lontie is infamous around the clans for airing her dirty laundry in public. No matter who she argues with the night before, the next day one can bet she will be telling the details to anyone within earshot the next day, twisting the facts so it looks like she is in the right and her opponent appears rude and stupid. While many of the more sensible dragons will take her tales with a pinch of salt, many more will listen in eagerly for the juicy gossip, even if they know that they are unlikely to be true. What makes it worse is that Lontie tends to pick fights with unpopular dragons, so others are more likely to spread the rumours due to a dislike of her opponent, despite the truth of the matter. Lontie loves being in the spotlight, and the admiration she gets from younger dragons for standing up for herself against some imaginary offence just encourages her more. Many dragons will try to avoid her, not wanting to be in her next story, but few are willing to openly confront her.
