Equinox Dragons are a highly vocal, migratory breed, easy to find when they are traveling through an area and incredibly scarce otherwise. They are extremely skilled at following dates and times based off the movement of the sun and the moons, and follow their lengthy migration routes like clockwork. Large flocks of Equinoxes can darken the skies, and their calls, which sound like eerie flutes, can be heard from a great distance. Equinoxes are very social, and hatchlings are cared for communally by the entire group—it’s rare to see a solitary Equinox, and any stragglers who don’t have a flock will often attempt to join groups of other breeds of dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Of her work-group, Go is the loudest and best at paddleball, and she thinks highly of herself. Immediately upon moving to Sierra-V, she suffered a hit to her dignity and worldview when several dragons asked what kind of strange people would name her "go she leg brush blah blah", when back with her flock, it was completely normal and never questioned. Soon, her name was shortened to "Go", and as further insult, nobody would put the g in proper lowercase. Folks at Sierra-V do things pretty differently, and Go is convinced she can learn them all alongside doing the job she came here for, without complaining about their differences. At least a lot of dragons know what paddleball is, and they concede that she is the best among them.
