Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is sometimes called "Wendy" or "a lot of words and Wendy". She's one of the inhabitants of the once-abandoned Hip House, which was named by the first group of dragons to resettle there. Although everyone in her family seems put off by it for one reason or another, in her opinion, it's really a nice house if you ignore some of the oddities, and it is huge and full of interesting elements and inhabitants. Her room is shared with another fast dragon who enjoys running, whom she quickly befriended. The hallway just outside is great for a jog because of the way it leads to itself if one doesn't follow certain paths. During the rare visit Wendy's family makes to the Hip House, they complain about how dangerous it is. They have unkind words about the bark-skinned beings next door and the gray slime coming from the nearby closet. Wendy's roommate is able to teleport visitors in and out, and she always ensures their safety, but she understands why they're frightened and upset.
