The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

HeRL0 loves to make friends. He is constantly drifting around wandering around and calling, "Hello, hello!" He has trouble with his L's, however, instead making an ambiguous noise somewhere between L and R. For some reason, many of the new people he greets run away screaming when they see him, like they think he is some sort of monster. Several adults have tried to explain to him about the legends of "ghosts" and how he looks like one, but he thinks everybody knows that real ghosts look more like bedsheets. For the most part, he has to stay content with the friends he already has which, given that he is an unageing youth, is an impressive friend group. If only his friends would stop growing up and spending all their time going on dates. HeRL0 tried climbing up date palms a few times, but he still can't see what all the fuss is about.
