Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hemimorpez Mystal FrostBreak (Clan Mystal) became the 68th clan dragon mid-winter, born of pure lineage. It had been rumored that his father's heart could not be warmed to love, however, with his birth, the answer to that questions was very clearly answered. As an eggling, he was very eager to break free of his confinement and hatched surprisingly quickly, causing concern from the clan elders. That is, of course, until it was discovered that his mother had requested the warming gift be granted to her offspring. Pyropendrus obliged the request, a heartfelt concern from one mother to another that any egg wrapped in so much ice would surely benefit from such warmth. The Clan Mother believes that his pale coloration may be a direct result of this added heat. Hemimorpez is a kind and gentle dragon, and seems to have taken a romantic interest in Howlitythia. Only time will tell if the two strike a chord with one another, although for his part, it certainly would not be for lack of trying!
