Mundus Cantormaris Dragons are a gentle, friendly breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their beautiful calls to lure people with a desire for peace to them in an attempt to make lasting friendships. It is considered a sign of good luck for one to hear their calls.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Paraben kidnaps humans and plonks them on an island to see what they do, not out of malice but curiosity. Her two bored Daydream friends are happy to help with arrangements, so long as she repays them with favors. She usually goes for those she likes or thinks are nice so they will try to get along with each other, and she remains out of sight so they don't know they're some dragon's test subjects. There are plenty of resources and no predators on the island, so they're sure to survive if they work together. Paraben covertly watches their activities, and over the next few days, she has lots of notes and theories and has picked one or two people she particularly likes. When she's had enough or thinks they've had enough, she has the Daydreams come around again, puts jewels in the subjects' pockets, and places them back where she found them. One time, a particularly curious group came very close to solving "the mystery of the island", and Paraben had to return them after only two days.
