Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

0libine wishes to grow up, and know his true gender. Everyone just assumes 0libine is a guy, even though nobody is sure, not even 0libine. But 0libine has a good habit of looking on the bright side. Due to being forever young, he doesn't have to do the things that the older dragons have to do, and he has a lot of playmates! But he gets babied and absolutely hates it. 0libine insists he's strong enough to defend himself but since he's a frozen hatchling, no dragon trusts him.
