Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blizzno Wiwyrm is the smallest adult of the Flaxseed Ridge Holiday Dragons but has the biggest personality of them all. He is energetic and talkative and speaks loudly, vocally and telepathically. He seems to know how to phrase things perfectly and can read various dragon breeds as well as humans. Those who don't like him harp on his name and what it means, but he didn't name himself, and he's pleased that there seems to be little else about him to criticize. Several dragons at Flaxseed Ridge and beyond hope that his partnership with his mate, Asard, is temporary, as many pairings are, and are quietly disappointed whenever the two are seen together.
