Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Prosthetist builds custom body parts to replace missing ones, and her outfit is located in Foxtrot Fissure, the Flat Bit. So skilled is she that, with telekinesis help, she was able to construct a functional fire gem tail for a client whose own tail was lost through an atrocious incident better not thought about. Prosthetist holds the ignoble regional record of Most Doctor Visits in a Year, obtained as a child. She wasn't fragile, but she did make numerous bad decisions that hurt or sickened her, and she's very lucky that Foxtrot Fissure has a lot of denizens well-versed in medicine and life magic. During all her days in the medical ward, she learned a lot about anatomy and met many dragons with injuries too severe to fully heal, including those who lost limbs. The experiences motivated Prosthetist to take better care of herself and to look for a job that helps people. She enjoys this work, though she'll admit she's shamelessly proud of all the jewels she earned over the decades.
