Starsinger Dragons are warm-hearted creatures who make their appearance at the start of winter. During the day, these dragons bask in the sun to absorb light into the crystals at their chest and between their horns. They will then perch high on tree tops or ledges at nightfall, where the shine of their crystals serve as a beacon for any weary travelers who have lost their way. However, these dragons are most well-known for the melodic songs they sing through the night, which can echo out for miles around in harmony with other Starsingers. These songs are often immortalized as festive carols and never fail to instill a sense of cheer and camaraderie during the holiday season.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Due to memory loss or suppression, Gwoat doesn't know anything about her family or really have an inkling of who raised her, although she has a strong feeling that her name is important. She consulted with one of Forktine's historians once, who said that "Gwoat" means "sauce" in the language of a green community over Pena and across Mid-Stoke Flats, or it could be an abbreviation of a term referring to revenue from sale of surrendered land. Or it could be made up. Gwoat holds onto it no matter what it means, since it's the only thing she feels she concretely knows about herself. Even her love of singing, looking over cliff tops, and socializing with holiday dragons were items that needed to be confirmed by others to be traits common to her breed. Despite her days filled with activities with other dragons, she enjoys the times she's by herself. No matter how much she does and how many new things she tries, there's an emptiness and an ever-present urge to look for something to fill it.
