Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Doctor Mabuse of Neverland is the third cave born vampire in this cave and came from an unknown guardian far away. All dragons suppose he had a trauma or a lost childhood because the vampire doesn't like what he used to be and often tells scary stories. He loves to make experiments for his own diet plan. With selected insects, plants and even seafood he mixes a blood-like drink in search for nutritional replacements. He tries to convince and satisfy each vampire in this cave to follow his vampiric diet plans. Some of them agreed after testing his substitution food and renounce regular nourishment from fresh eggs. From time to time, he gets a little strange and crazy. This happens if the real vampire in him wants to bite. In these crazy periods he acts a bit unrestrained. It always ends with a blackout and a bite. His victims are only lineaged eggs and they all mysteriously become female.
