Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Emerals Earthquake escaped from another cave as a hatchling. At that time, he was known as Emerals, after his father Emered. As a young scrap alone in the forest, he had a rough time. In order to obtain food, he beat his tiny tail on the ground, stunning small rodents long enough to kill them. A group of young dragons out exploring found him, but by then he had grown. He used his tail in self-defense. The dragons used what little magic they had to get him back to the cave, where he lives today. They called him Earthquake, for they had never known another dragon of his breed. Later he combined the two names. Currently, he teaches the hatchlings battle skills and looks out for his friend Daughter Earth.
