Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Scalper is very active in various communities across Galsreim, to their detriment. A wielder of magic and lover of shiny, round objects, he is hardly found in his forest not because he's that elusive but because he's busy scalping. Before it's announced somewhere that tickets for a very popular play or band are being sold, his group of allies are already in line, ready to buy them. Scalper offers extra help: strangers in the queue feel hours or days pass, while his friends wait only a comfortable few minutes. Once they've purchased tickets, they resell them later, profiting massively, and they hand most of the money to Scalper to join his sparkling hoard. They are a sly, charismatic bunch consisting mostly of dragons, so buyers tend not to argue pricing. All people know is that these resellers work for some unseen entity under what is probably an alias, and even if Scalper is noticed lurking somewhere, no one recognizes him as "the Scalper".
