Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nehi Grape has a bad habit of talking down to others when he has knowledge they don't have, or he thinks he does. He's trying to fight that habit, though. He doesn't so much walk as trundle, and he has to employ a bit of mana to fly. When he was an adolescent, he discovered the delicious goodness of goat cheese and candied anything, and he hasn't learned moderation. Since his home is next to a sugarcane plantation and his good friends to the east have a bunch of goats, his favorite foods are plentiful. Nehi Grape likes rules, especially talking to other dragons about rules, whether they're rules currently in place, those that will be enacted sometime in the future, or things that should be a rule in his opinion but aren't. He will also remind others of the rules. The goat and sugarcane tenders that Nehi Grape patronizes so often (in both senses of the term) fastidiously obey the region's farming, business, and animal care regulations.
