Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"NO! IT MUST BE 'ONE PLUS ONE PLUS ONE'! NOT JUST 'THREE'! YOU DO NOT CREATE A THREE FROM A ZERO!" is what this dragon often yells at others. Considered by many to be both a mathematical genius and a crazed nut with a loud voice, ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY SAY THREE spends his days figuring out paradoxical equations and questions with no answer. Needless to say, he never succeeds, and some think this is what has driven him mad. Now, whenever dragons mention the word "three", he springs to life, yelling, "ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY SAY THREE!", repeated by the phrase above. To make it even worse, he often creeps up on other dragons, just waiting for them to say that infamous number, before leaping out of the bushes and scaring them to death. And with silver scales that blend in with the full moon, he often strikes at night—so it's no wonder why some call him a 'lunatic'.
