Shallow Water Dragons are found in tropical regions where the water is warm. They use their magic to hunt, using bubbles to capture small fish and animals. Their large, webbed feet make them excellent swimmers and they are able to move at very high speeds. Due to their bright color, these dragons are easily spotted in the lagoons where they live.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Kailani Nuria's egg was found by the human girl Ember near the Lake of Elgar. Ember brought it to her friend Flight, who lived by the lake, and Flight told her that she had put it there on purpose for her to find. Flight said it was a present. Ember thanked Flight and headed to her home in the tallest mountain of Elgar. Caspian, the first dragon Ember had ever raised, came with her. He usually stayed in the Lake of Elgar by day, and slept with her at night, but today was different.  The blue water horse dragon pushed the egg with his nose and said, "This one is different. It is a water dragon." He was right. The dragon was indeed a water dragon, a shallow water dragon to be precise. Kailani grew up with Caspian and Ember always by her side. She thought of them as her father and mother and loved them with her whole heart. When Kailani grew up, Ember brought her down to the lake of Elgar to live with her "father" Caspian. Kailani still lives in the lake of Elgar, and visits Ember often.
