Galvanic Wyverns possess a strength that seems impossibly vast for their size. They achieve this through their unique ability to extract magic in its purest form directly from mana. They then channel this energy throughout their bodies via the metallic conduits along their spines, wings, and tail tips, giving them their magically-augmented physical prowess, as well as the magical dexterity to lay devastating spells. However, once they have depleted a mana crystal, they are left vulnerable until they are able to harvest another.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Magrez was her caretakers' second galvanic wyvern. The first was her brother, Megrez, who is a few months older. By the time she hatched, their parents knew a little better about this breed and were more confident about raising her. She believes that's why she turned out... ah, healthier than her brother. She was said to have hatched late and was tiny as a child, but she's now pretty much average size. She also doesn't have an unexplained fear of eggs like Megrez does... a mild feeling of worry, yes, but not terror. Magrez's neighbors are the lovey-dovey sort who dislike displays of power for being "unnecessary" and chide her for "not promoting harmony with others", so sometimes she gets out of that harmful environment for a while by visiting her brother. She brings an egg or egg-shaped object to see if he's gotten over his fear yet, and the answer is "no". One day, Magrez will find a cartful of eggs and show them to him, and all that exposure should help him stop being afraid.
