Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Totalitea is an accountant, and while he is very good with numbers he dislikes big words, so he typically introduces himself as a "tea totaler". For some reason that he has yet to figure out, people seem surprised to discover he is rather fond of wine and spirits. There was one time a bunch of orchardists asked for calculations about their orchards, and he joked that he was a "tree totaler". Then one of the bleeding moons up in the Drowned Mountains asked how many good slopes were on his mountain, and Totalitea called himself a "ski totaler". And while calculating the population of stray dogs and the spread of mange, he was a "flea totaler". Currently he has a cheesemaker client and is a "brie totaler".
