Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A master of hunting in the volcanic valleys, Okoru is in charge of teaching the more combat-inclined hatchlings in the family how to battle in the more dangerous terrain. Aggressive and strict, Okoru will often refuse to train those he is not immediately impressed with. In his spare time, he watches the volcanoes at night, sometimes prying sharp shards of volcano glass from the lava beds. He uses these fragments to sharpen his claws, and sometimes gifts them to former students he respects.
