Witchlight Dragons are silent, secretive beasts that haunt the most remote corners of the wilderness. They beguile their unsuspecting prey into peril by assaulting their perceptions of reality and stoking the fires of paranoia with masterfully-conjured illusions. Unwary travelers have been led astray by the soft, inviting glow of their eyes amidst a sea of encroaching darkness, never to be seen again. Those that survive a Witchlight Dragon’s psychic onslaughts do not escape unchanged: some believe that the apparitions these dragons summon to tempt or torment their victims awaken them to hidden truths about themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Weyward Sister, often called Chameleon by her peers, lives among a group of dragons who enjoy writing and understand the power and importance of the pen. Her work is amateurish and full of errors, but they try not to insult her TOO much in case the normally friendly witchlight snaps and liquefies their minds with her freaky abilities. For now, she is content to use her magic to just paint herself different colors and patterns, either for fun or to conceal herself. When she gets excited or angry, she sometimes accidentally turns herself a brilliant red, gold, and green, incongruous with her surroundings. That is how she earned her nickname, "Chameleon". She is very fond of commas and will generously use them in her writing. Sometimes, she'll place one or multiple commas after every word and even within words. This is unbearable for some, amusing for others. Her peers facetiously hail her as the poster girl for extraneous comma use, the Comma-Comma-Comma-Comma-Comma Chameleon.
