Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silverbranch is a musical male Silver Tinsel dragon. He loves to compose pieces of music, which often become the tunes for the songs that his mate, Icerose Trapped Eternally, writes. Silverbranch is a gentle dragon and finds nature very inspiring. His favourite season is spring, strangely enough, although there will always be a special place in his heart for Christmas time.

   Silverbranch dwells in a leafy 'cave' made from logs and twigs, situated about a fifteen minute walk away from the Great Lake. He shares his home with his mate. Silverbranch's children now in various places on the wide lands of HeroHorse, but the family always makes a special effort to reunite at Christmas.

  Silverbranch loves Icerose Trapped Eternally very much, and always tries to make her happy. He often makes gifts for her and writes music inspired by watching her. The pair love each other very much.
