Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Franchino is vicious and battle-loving, often picking fights far too easily just out of the desire to do something exciting. She has a habit of challenging others and especially loves to convince them to bet some neat loot or trinket on a fight, which she'll rarely lose. Despite this, she's not entirely unpleasant and is very useful to have on the battlefront; however, she's not selfless and will only ever fight for herself, though fight all the time she will.
