Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hitomi is a very mellow hatchling compared to the others. Due to her excessively strong healing power, she finds herself unable to reach adulthood and force her stuck in hatchling state. Despite her huge magic power, she loves to sleep and it is not unusual for her to sleep for a very long time, sometimes she won't even wakes up for the whole day if no one wakes her up. She is extremely close to Hikari and she also possess a very beautiful pair of crystal blue eyes that seem to glow in the darkness.
