Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Medea has become obsessed with a human game called jump rope. At first she was merely content to watch the children in the towns play, but after a while she wanted a go at it herself. The problem was no rope was long enough to arc over her. A solution was formed when the children tied several ropes together and stood on the top of tree stumps and rocks. If Medea presses her wings against her body and curls her tail underneath her, she is just able to clear the rope when she jumps.

She has been banned from playing too close to the human settlements though, as the weight of a dragon jumping up and down presents the same problems as a minor earthquake.
