Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Satoru is the son of Aya and Shou, and is the result of a brief fling that the two had. His name means "Daybreak", since that is the time that his egg was laid. After his parents realized they weren't meant to be a couple, Satoru's egg was given to his father to be raised. His mother visited every day, and both his parents were thrilled when their happy little bundle arrived. Satoru has always been very energetic, and is one of the happiest dragons in the colony. He enjoys making friends, and exploring the reefs that are part of his home. He met MikaNami on there, which gives him one more reason to love the reefs; it's where he found his soul mate. They have so much fun together, and look forward to spending the rest of their eternal lives together.
