Swallowtail Dragons are graceful and quick flyers, much like their namesake bird. They are capable of precise aerial acrobatics, and can reach very high altitudes. Because of this, humans observing these dragons are often astonished at how large they are when confronted up close. A Swallowtail’s diet consists of insects and small mammals plentiful in temperate forests. These dragons are also made remarkable by their paper-thin wing membranes, which allow light to pass through, creating an astonishing effect on starry nights.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gamwell is cordial and impish, although he's thought to be bashful when he is to talk about himself. Unlike others in Village Victor, he doesn't talk about his job, unless someone really asks. He does have a job, and by all accounts, he finds it fulfilling, but other than some vague descriptions of costs and analyses, he's reluctant to share at dinner. Gamwell's wings have never been seen up close. People can watch him fly from afar, where he looks no different from any other swallowtail, but for some reason, he tucks those wings tightly at his side when anyone is near him. His neighbors and meal buddies sometimes try to trick him into opening his wings so they can see what he's hiding, but he is immune to their machinations and bats his tails at their noses with a you-can't-fool-me look.
