Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As her name entails, Heatseeker is always on the hunt for the perfect basking spot. She often gets into scuffles with her lazy brother, Bask, though her smaller-than-average size and lack of strength make these fights absurdly one-sided. Heatseeker is much meaner and more cantankerous than other Ultraviolet. While she won't ever initiate fights on her own, but she is quick to scare off others that approach her. She tends to tolerate her siblings better, but it's a marginal difference. She's still apt to shout or claw at them for getting too close. Though prickly and the furthest thing from welcoming, Heatseeker is not a lazy beast. In fact, she is hardworking as all get out. Though she isn't a great physical fighter, she's a solid huntress and angler. She spends the majority of her time diligently gathering food for herself and family. While she may not necessarily like them, she still feels obligated to support her family, especially given her admiration for father, Bullet.
