Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There wasn't a time when Nightmarish Precedence wore a coat of white. The first thing he saw when he hatched was a pack of hellfires, the alpha viciously ripping into one of her males. Precedence made a name for himself that morning, bounding into the sky and tearing the membrane out of her wing. Half the pack tried to kill him, but there was enough bickering among them that he escaped, dark fur camouflaging against the barren, volcanic waste. What he has seen since has only deepened his rage. He rarely kills, instead leaving felons with a gaping wound somehow related to their crime—a pickpocket will be relieved of his thieving hand, for example. He ignores those who are nice, almost like he cannot see them. The closest he comes to communication is the wordless warningreminder to his targets that they deserve what they've received and will get worse if they do more. He casts a spell into the wounds that repels life magic. When others try to calm him, it is as if he cannot hear them.
