Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Kalahari enjoys dry heat, especially on his wings. They're a bit more fragile than those of most red dragons, and so he tends to spend a lot of time making sure they're warmed up before he uses them. The warmer they are, the better the blood flows through the membranes, and the less the risk is of them tearing. Surprisingly, he doesn't mind the weakness of his wings. It means he's given more time to bask than other dragons in Nadat's cave. Only Heated, another red, has ever called him lazy, but the White pair Speak Softly and Carry A Big Stick quickly calmed everyone down by pointing out that they have less work to do if Kalahari lazes in the sun for a while.
