Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shaydow lives alone in a mountain called Cyanhart Peak, which he has carved into a labyrinth. He uses its shade to avoid freezing from the sun. He rearranges many large sections of wall to confound those who seek whatever treasures that are said to lie within the allegedly cursed peak. It is unknown whether such treasures even exist. During the night, he often travels far from his cavern to hunt, but always returns before the sun reclaims the sky. Treasure hunters rarely actually enter his caverns, however, as Houdumix dwells on the outside of his mountain and sustains herself by eating them.

Were Shaydow not so reclusive to avoid any social interactions, he would be an interesting person to talk with. He would enjoy a good philosophical debate, and be able to liven a dead conversation. He would have an impressive sense of humor, too. But the way he is, his ability to thoughtspeak has deteriorated via disuse.
