Kyanite Pygmies are a feisty breed, always full of energy. Playfully ebullient, these tiny and elusive dragons like to chase after one another, darting in and out of small alcoves and other such hiding places. They often dig small burrows underneath large trees and nibble on the roots for sustenance. They rely on the towering oaks’ formidable trunks and vast immensity to hide them from predators, something their small size aids in. Kyanites also secrete a weak toxin when threatened, which further protects them from intruders. However, this poison is not strong enough to affect larger creatures, humans included.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Unaccomplished is actually rather accomplished, if she can say herself. She was a proprietor in a magical dried goods shop for many years and contributed to the economic growth of November Needleleaf Lea. Now, happily retired, she's a research assistant for a group of mycologists. Her cleverness and business knowledge have helped her colleagues get a few grants, and as a handler of magical goods, she knows many useful everyday spells. Her favorite is the growth ray, which can make her as big as a xenowyrm, defying physics. Unbeknownst to Unaccomplished's friends and colleagues, she uses this spell to make other individuals think twice about picking on a kyanite and pull of the rare prank or two. And it's helped her colleagues win a few grants.
